This is us in a program called Tae Kwon Do. It is a martial arts institution that is in Shawano, Wisconsin. Tae Kwon Do teaches respect and self-discipline for kids any age. It really helped us adjust in life from being the kids sitting at home trying to play with toys to actually doing an awesome program that really helped our life develop throughout the years. We still, to this day, acknowledge our mom and dad for putting us in these life-changing programs.
This is a picture of us when we liked two different Packers quarterbacks. Mitchell liked Aaron Rodgers a lot better than Matthew did. Matthew has always been a die hard Brett Favre fan the majority of his life. As soon as Brett Favre resumed his career in New York and then Minnesota, Matthew jumped on the Jets and then Minnesota Vikings bandwagons for about three years. Once Brett Favre announced his retirement after his Minnesota career, Matthew turned into a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan. His uncle is an Eagles fan and has been for all of his life and Matthew began to love watching Donovan McNabb and being a loyal Eagles fan which still continues today for Matthew.
Really? There was snow in Texas? This was in the middle of the day when we all arrived in Texas for the Super Bowl two days prior to the event. We figured we would get a picture in the snow at Texas. We won't see snow like that stuck to the ground in Texas very often in our lifetime. It was a really cool moment when the snow stopped and there was grass again. It felt like summer all over again on Super Bowl Sunday.
This is one experience that we will never forget. The Packer stadium is literally 30 minutes away from our house in Wisconsin, but we were able to go to Texas and watch the Packers win the Super Bowl. We were so shocked the night we heard that we were going to the game and even more when they held on to win the Super Bowl. Our grandma surprised us! We are very lucky!
