I have had a major challenge throughout my young life with handling loud sounds! Several things were tried to help me including listening therapy with an Occupational Therapist. I also wore noise-canceling headphones and tried other therapies. The music programs helped me. I was 6 years-old a that time. I went to an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor to get an audiogram to see what my level of hearing really was. It show that my hearing was very sensitive, like a person with superhuman hearing. All of these things helped me to not be so fearful and overwhelmed around loud noises, which is great especially that now I love to go to sporting events and concerts!

My love of sports has been very important to me. It all started when my Dad took me to my first Packers football game and that is what helped me get into sports. It was entertaining and relaxing for me to watch which ended up turning around my life. It makes me calm down inside my body. I started liking sports when I was 10 years old and continue to have that same passion today.
